SeaWorld - Florida Blog #2

SeaWorld was the park that i loved the most - for the simple fact being that i love sea animals. All together we spent five days in SeaWorld. I got the chance to see the dolphin and the whale shows. I also got the chance to see the turtles, the stingrays and the penguins. Also while i was there, i got the amazing chance to actually feed the dolphins.

One thing i remember was that when we went to see the penguins it was so cold as the conditions had to fit in with the penguins natural habitat. I feel the cold really easily and i hate being too cold so it was hard to adjust to the sudden drop of temperature as i was only in shorts and a tank-top as it was boiling outside! But it was all worth it as the penguins were the cutest things ever!

Unlike at most theme parks, i never went on the rides. I think this was because there was so much to see, that we never really got chance to go on them. However, i didn't mind as im not the type of person who loves going on the rides- i'd rather go and see the rest of the park first. We must have went and seen the dolphin shows at least three times.

Feeding the dolphins was amazing and a time which i will never forget. Being so close to my favorite animal and seeing what they were like made me realize that one day i want to go to America and work with dolphins- whether that be observing them or not- I want to do something that involves working with dolphins as they are amazing animals!

We also went to a dolphin nursery where there was a mother and five baby dolphins. This was where you could go and see them without set times and you could spend however long you wanted there. You could also ask questions about the dolphins and find out about them. I really enjoyed this as the dolphins were jumping and doing whatever they wanted, whenever.

One thing i wish that i could have done was swim with the dolphins but it was really expensive so when i go back i will definitely do that. However i loved going there and will most definitely go back.

goodbye x
